Kalai Mugilan

Kalai Mugilan presented ideas on how to teach emotional intelligence as a way to teach values in the classroom as part of the Teaching Teachers to Teach Values series.

His presentation focused on how to break down barriers to establish trust with students. Using epistemology on words to encourage discussion and made the point that we have to teach people how to learn and help them be in a good enough emotional place so that they can learn. He was kind enough to share many of the resources and tools he uses in his classrooms.
