The objective of this course is to develop a holistic view of the finance function within our economy and society. Economic, environmental and social externalities will be discussed along with possible ways to internalize them. The importance of responsible and ethical financial decision-making by households, businesses, investors, and governments will be emphasized in a variety of contexts. The following subject areas and topics will be covered:
