In this paper, we share learnings from a decade-long experiment in developing a bridge course that integrates a theological perspective into business education at a Catholic University. The insights we have received on this journey encourage a deep exploration of the roles of creativity, sacrifice, and suffering as ways of transcending, accepting, and integrating the tensions of moral professional life. We believe that bridging the theological perspective with entrepreneurship is a vital part of the conversation on how the liberal arts can enrich a traditional business education too reliant on unchallenged positivism, individualism, and moral relativism. We believe that this integration of liberal and business education can serve as an important defining dimension to Catholic and Jesuit business education.
