Peer review of research is a standard in academe, and yet researchers receive little to no training related to the peer-review process. The purpose of this paper is to provide both a helpful framework for reviewing and tips on specific activities to avoid in the reviewing process, which, taken together, provide training and support for both novice and experienced reviewers working within the field of case writing. Also, included is a literature review about the peer review process within the Society for Case Research (SCR) and the field of case writing, as well as, a discussion and implications.
