Ed Truitt, Manager of Finance and Administration for Sampson's American Sandpaper Division (ASD), returned to his office late on Friday afternoon. He and his staff had just wrapped up prep-aration of the divisional budget for the coming year. It had been an enormous task and Ed was trying to tie up the day as quickly as possible and start home.
