There are people who transcend and leave a mark on humanity. Sadly today, we share the departure of Consuelo García de La Torre.
Consuelo has always been an enthusiastic promoter of humanistic management throughout Latin America. In her work and her treatment, she always reflected the ideals of a more humane, more sustainable, and more responsible world.
Consuelo passed away last Saturday, and she leaves an empty space that we are sure will be difficult to fill.
Her career in the international academy was very extensive; She was a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences since its foundation, a founding member of CLADEA, an active participant in the AOM, a member of PRME and the Center for Humanism, Management and Globalization at HEC Montreal, Distinguished Professor at EGADE Business School, ESAN and UDEM. and visiting professor at various universities around the world.
To those of us who knew her and dealt with her, she leaves us the joy of having worked together in the search for such ideals, and the commitment to continue with her legacy.
A hug with affection and a prayer to heaven for the rest of Consuelo
