This tool is in the form of an Excel spreadsheet and includes a series of questions to help students create an effective, evidenced based strategy to solve a problem while helping them consider the ethical implications of their chosen strategy. This tool can be used in conjuction with any case study. The methodology used is explained through the book.
Topics students need to answer include 5 steps with multiple questions to answer in each step. Each step can be repeated as needed to get to an answer. There are questions within each step to re-inforce evidenced based protocols combined with ethical considerations.
