Sustainability has taken on different interpretations around the world, including within the Jesuit network. The pressing questions are what an agreeable definition for sustainability is at least for the network and what is being done in the Jesuit Business education system. In the 2023 IAJBS presentation, the initial results of the virtual interviews with Jesuit leaders were presented. The proposed presentation will introduce the survey research done in Fall 2023. These surveys provide an expanded view of global sustainability perspectives in the Jesuit network, highlighting the variety of ways people define sustainability and what’s being done. The mixed study design will be presented in a visual and informative way. In the presentation, the findings will be summarized in a way that allows for the different parts of the globe to be respectfully represented. This presentation will open the floor to World Forum participants to discuss the steps needed for advancing sustainability in the inspirational paradigm. The outcome of this research will enhance the efforts in the Inspirational Paradigm curriculum initiative. The research findings will bring current information and meaningful feedback into the deliberations on developing Jesuit business education strategies.
