In Mexico, the interest in social enterprises has increased in the last 20 years. These present an alternative to the profit maximization approach of the company beyond the social responsibility approach; They seek to solve a social problem, improve the conditions of the population they are targeting, modify the consumption habits of their clients and in general a social transformation through a social business model. The policies to promote entrepreneurship in the State of Guanajuato have focused mainly on the generation of traditional and recently technology-based entrepreneurship; while the promotion of social entrepreneurship has been limited, sometimes confused with projects with low added value and without a clear strategy for their generation and development. Despite this, there are different initiatives in the educational and business sectors and some at the local government level that promote the generation of these enterprises; emerging an ecosystem of social entrepreneurship. In this research work, the main actors in the ecosystem and the connection preferences for the generation of enterprises with social impact are identified by young university students who have participated in state social volunteering programs and who have the potential to undertake; subsequently, it is contrasted with the real links that social entrepreneurs have had in their startup stage to analyze their perceived effectiveness, as well as the potential that they could represent for their strengthening, innovation and scalability. The Network Social Analysis is used with the Gephi software, its main metrics are identified, such as its centrality, intermediation and clustering, which allows considering the actors that could consolidate the Ecosystem of Social Entrepreneurship in the State of Guanajuato, México .
