              Reflection is a fundamental component of Ignatian pedagogy linking action and experience to learning. Developing skills of reflection will support students’ current learning. Promoting the habit of reflection will nurture individuals’ growth in work and in life. Acknowledging that reflection is a key component to learning and development of the whole person, we describe specific assignments we have used and explore factors that influence its effectiveness.
