Learning Outcomes

Students will

  • Experiment with a cognitive awareness model to explore, self-assess current attributes, and create ideal behaviors of leadership
  • Conduct a case study analysis of a past-current leader
  • Create a personal leadership model encompassing Ignatian principles
  • Explore, critically review, and synthesize thought leaders (HBR) concepts and best practices on leading change
  • Reflect on the top seven learnings and personal process to apply in future leadership roles

This course is focused on exploring the current research on best practices in Leadership through the eyes of current practitioners and researchers. The course will focus on the foundational concepts of leadership processes, components of establishing a leadership culture, and attributes and behaviors of exceptional leaders.
