Is the American Tax System Ethical

In this case, students are asked to understand the nature of the progressive American tax system and to make insights into whether the system is ethical or not, especially as compared to a proportional flat tax. This case would be appropriate for courses for Principles of Economics, Income Tax and Business Ethics.
