Welcome to Volume 6 of the Journal of Jesuit Business Education (JJBE). On this ve-year anniversary of the launch of the Journal, we pause to consider our brief history. JJBE is an outgrowth of the Colleagues in Jesuit Business Education (CJBE), a group of faculty, administrators and friends of Jesuit business education, founded in 1998 by Robert Spitzer, S.J. The mission of CJBE is to support, promote and enhance the distinctiveness of Jesuit schools of business and related programs through an ongoing exchange of ideas regarding curriculum, teaching, research, and service in the Ignatian, Catholic, and Humanistic traditions. CJBE hosts a meeting each summer of Jesuit busi- ness school faculty, administrators, staff and alumni on one of the Jesuit campuses in the United States. This year for the rst time, with the goal of reaching a more international audience, CJBE will co-host its meeting with the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools (IAJBS) outside of the U.S., in Montevideo, Uruguay.
