Case study research was conducted by faculty and students at Idaho State University’s College of Business. The research studied the successful downtown revitalization efforts of three small American cities. The three cities studied were: Tupelo, Mississippi, Laramie, Wyoming, and Bozeman, Montana. One of the key goals of the presentation of this research is to help students and economic development professions to discover the common successful approaches of each of the three cities. It is hoped that economic development professionals will be able to apply these approaches to their own communities with successful results. (This is a case study at the embryo stage.)
