              This commentary aims to promote the integration of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) into higher education through the case method teaching approach. The purpose of this essay was to take leverage on personal teaching experiences in Colombia and relevant case studies, to highlight the transformative potential of applying DEI principles in business, culture, and marketing education. It also invites the use of the case method methodology to provide an interactive platform for students to engage in real-world scenarios, fostering critical thinking, and cultural intelligence. This article concludes with a call to action for educators to adopt this approach as a strategic tool to shift mindsets and enrich learning outcomes.
